...can be held for only so long and mine is damned near breaking!

Since I'm at work, I don't have time to explain, so I will update tonight when I get home. I just wanted to mention that in light of some things I've come across lately.

A couple of things that are just irking me I won't go into too much detail because [bored tone] it'd make the wrong people madder than what they already are and then they'd just do something stupid in some lame attempt at getting some uncalled for revenge and that would only make me even madder which would start the whole cycle again. [/bored tone]

But honestly, at this point? I'm just one step from not giving a flying fork right now because I feel I have been behaving myself around people then they begin to do things that they once accused me of. If this causes me to loose a few friends, well then so be it. When I'm scared to talk to someone because I'm afraid something I say will set them off, then that means the friendship is bound to come to an end anyway. It was fun while it lasted but I really don't need the added stress.

One thing that I've seen both here and elsewhere that I've seen/heard people get ishy about is that their artwork was passed over by someone else's artwork. Honestly people, if the admins have had plenty of room to showcase all hundreds of thousands of artwork in just one day/week/month they would do it in a heartbeat! GET OVER IT! Give it plenty of time and one day you too will be amongst the honored and your artwork will be chosen.

Another thing....well...wait....this one I can't explain without going into detail and making the wrong people ishy. But if it makes people happy because they HAVE to have the attention, I will do so but you had better expect it to be completly off the wall and have nothing to do with the situation at hand unless I feel otherwise. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED AND I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANY COMPLAINTS FROM THIS POINT FORWARD BECAUSE I WILL REFER BACK TO THIS ENTRY SHOULD COMPLAINTS ARISE

I love random IM's as much as the next person but I hate group messages. Once every six months is cool. But an almost daily gm really ishes me off especially when it's asking me to go hangout with such & such person when for as far as I know lives in another country or asking me to call them (random thought here: I don't give out my cell number to people I don't know that well because I don't want a 3am drunk call when I work the next day...and this is kinda the same thing for staying invisible on yahoo too).

You are your own worst critic so stop saying your art sucks. My art sucks, I know it, but I still love it (especially since someone from work the other day said my art looks like lego people )

If someone s your art and runs, then think about this: Obviously they liked your art but cannot very well describe just what it is they liked that isn't as overly used as your standard "That's cool!" or "That's awesome!" You yourself have been there when you saw something you like but can't put it into words so who are you to criticize those of us who just happen to feel the same way about your art. Stop writing stupid journals/comments that say "If I don't get comments, I'm leaving forever!!!" That just shows how shallow you really are so grow up and appreciate the fact that there are people that like your art but can't explain why they like it.

_*new* If you have something in a public journal that offers something for free, take it out once the requirements have been met. If you don't remove it, then do not belittle someone who may have missed the fact that the requirements have been met. It only makes you the bigger fool than those who missed the fact the requirements were already met.
